1. What should I expect at a Cultivate SciArt event? ​​​

1. Will children enjoy this event? Programs vary in complexity, but children from Middle School age up should be engaged by most of our programs.  If you have a question about a specific program, please feel free to contact us.  https://www.cultivatesciart.org/

 

1. Should I pre-register?  This is not required but it is appreciated.

 

1. What time should I arrive?  That depends on the ways in which you would like to enjoy your evening. We will begin at 6pm, but tasty food and drink are always available at our venues.  Make plans to arrive a bit earlier to order if you would like!

 

1. How is the program structured?  The first presentation is by our “scientist of the evening” about his/her work with slides and information.  After that, our “artist-in-residence”, Marielena Martinez, will provide some information about the artist on whose work our take-home interpretive piece will be patterned. Then we create!

There are plenty of opportunities for questions.

 

1. Is it ok to leave a program early if needed? Yes, but please try to stay long enough to complete your artwork!  Our participants are always excited about (& often surprised by) what they create.
